OSU Partners with Mt. Hood Comm. College

CORVALLIS, Ore. — Oregon State University is expanding once again, this time by teaming up with a community college near Portland.

Students at Mt. Hood Community College can now fill out one application and pay one fee to be enrolled at OSU as well. OSU says it wants to make the university more affordable for everyone, and this way students can get core classes done for a cheaper rate at Mt. Hood Community College.

OSU has similar programs at most community colleges in the state.

“This is an expansion but it’s in Portland. And so it’s actually an effort, like what we’re doing with Linn-Benton, like what we’re doing with Portland Community College, expands higher education to engage even more students,” said Steve Clark, OSU Relations & Marketing.

The co-enrollment program kicks off next term.
