CORVALLIS, Ore. — A local scientist gets the chance to work with the Mars rover exploration.
Oregon State University marine geologist Martin Fisk gets to examine some of the first photos sent back from curiosity. He’s comparing them to existing maps of the planet’s surface.
Then with the help of Fisk’s findings, a group of scientist will determine where to send the rover and what experiments to conduct each day.
