OSU Sends Off Largest Senior Class

CORVALLIS, Ore. — Oregon State graduates were all smiles this morning as the Class of 2013 picked up their diplomas at Reser Stadium.

The graduation ceremony began at 10:30 a.m. and lasted for about three and a half hours.

This is the biggest class to ever graduate from Oregon State – with over 5200 graduates.

Graduates say the hard work has finally paid off.

“Not only as a low-income foster child to a woman who maybe in the past would never have been able to have this opportunity and so I’m just really grateful to be here,” said Christina Horne, graduate.

Graduates of the Class of 2013 earned over 5400 degrees from the various colleges at Oregon State University.
