OSU Student Hurt in Triangle Lake Crash

TRIANGLE LAKE, Ore. — An Oregon State University student was injured in a crash Friday morning.

The crash happened at about 7:30 a.m. on Highway 36 east of Triangle Lake.

Nicole Sallee, 19, of Woodland, Washington was driving eastbound near milepost 38 at Alderwood State Park when she lost control while trying to go around a curve. Her car hit a utility pole off the road and flipped on its top. Police say she crawled out of the car and a passing driver stayed with her until help arrived.

Sallee was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
