Rally support for those with MS at the MS Walk 2013. This 5K route will take walkers through Alton Baker Park. The walk happens Saturday morning at 10 a.m. There’s no fundraising limit, but you’re asked to collect $25 from four friends each.
Saturday is Earth Day, and EWEB is holding its 15th Annual Earth Day Celebration. There will be kids activities, tons of things to learn, movies and more. It happens from 11 a.m. to 5 a.m. Admission is free.
The Cinema Pacific Film Festival returns to the Eugene this weekend. It showcases films and media art from Pacific boarding countries. Admission ranges from free to $10 and happens now through Sunday. Go online for show times and locations.
Get ready for some laughs. The W.O.W. Hall is hosting stand-up comedian and actor Doug Benson. He’s appeared on Comedy Central Presents, Best Week Ever and was a contestant on Last Comic Standing. His show’s at 8 p.m. Saturday night.
The University of Oregon’s opera will sing An Evening of Spanish Opera. Eugene Opera presents this one-act family-friendly show at the Hult Center. Performances are Saturday at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday at 3 p.m. Tickets are $20. discounts are available.
