out and about graphicBaseball, football, and more, there’s lots to do with the family this weekend.

In this week’s Out and About, this weekend college football season returns for both the Ducks and the Beavers. The Oregon Ducks will take on the South Dakota Coyotes Saturday night at 7:30 at Autzen. OSU will play against Portland State at 1 p.m. at Reser Stadium. Tickets are still available.

The Eugene Emeralds baseball team is also in town. They’ll play against the Vancouver Canadians Friday night. The first pitch is thrown at 7:05 p.m. at PK Park. Ticket prices for that game start at $7.

This Labor Day weekend, wineries all over Oregon will open their doors. They’ll be hosting special events to welcome visitors. Click here for a complete list of events and locations.

In Elkton, they’re celebrating the annual Fort Umpqua Days. There will be a parade Saturday morning, a bass fishing tournament, a BBQ dinner, live music, and much more. That happens Saturday and Sunday at the Elkton Community Education Center. Admission is free.

And if looking for a great run on the Oregon coast, head out to Charleston for the sixth annual Sunset Bay Trail Runs. Races are Saturday morning at starting at 9:30 at Sunset Bay State Park. Do the one-mile fun run, four-mile, 15k, or the new half marathon. The entry fee is only $10.
