Bundle up and get ready for some fabulous holiday lights. Junction City is having its annual light parade Friday night. It starts at 7 p.m. In downtown Junction City. Admission is free.
Dancers will take you on a journey to the enchanted land of Narnia. Hosanna Dance presents its annual ballet this weekend. Tickets are $13 in advance and $15 at the door. But on Friday, admission is one new unwrapped toy per ticket or a $15 donation per seat. Shows are Friday through Sunday at Lane Community College.
If you can’t make it to the ballet, you can also help kids in need at the Holiday Ice Show. This exhibition showcases figure skaters from around Oregon. It’s this Saturday at 7:30 p.m. at the Lane Events Ice Center. Admission is a new, unwrapped toy for Toys for Tots.
Be sure to bring your jingle bells for this year’s Jingle Bells Run. There’s a scenic 8K run, 5K run/walk and a kids Rudolph Fun Run. It happens Saturday at noon at Maurie Jacobs Park in Eugene. Admission is $15-$20. Proceeds benefit the Parkside Community Preschool.
Get in the holiday spirit with your favorite songs of the season. The Shedd is performing its annual Christmas show Let it Snow, which includes some old-fashioned classics. The Shedd is located on East Broadway in Eugene. The show starts at 2 p.m. on Sunday. Tickets start at $18.
