Meet the makers of your favorite craft brews this weekend during Zwinkelmania. Local breweries will open their doors for tours, meet-and-greets and of course samples. It happens Saturday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at various locations. Admission is free.
The Afro-Cuban All Stars are playing at the Shedd this Saturday. This Cuban orchestra will having you moving in your seats. That show starts at 7:30 p.m. Tickets start at $24.
Work Dance Company is showing off their dance moves during their show Wonderland. They’ll combine old and new school hip-hop and jazz with visual effects. The show is Friday at the Hult Center at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $17.
Grateful Dead fans, Mickey Hart Band is in town this weekend with Dave Schools of Widespread Panic. They’re playing at the McDonald Theater Sunday night. Tickets are still on sale. They’re $25 in advance at TicketsWest and on the McDonald Theater’s website. They’re $30 the day of. The concert starts at 8 p.m.
If you’d like get outdoors, sign up for the Bristow Trail Run. The course is about five miles long at Bristow State Park in Dexter. It takes you through the woods and some streams. The run starts at 9 a.m. Sunday. Admission starts at $25.
