The bulls are back! See some of the best Pro Bull Riding around this weekend at Matthew Knight Arena. The pros are on tour and will stop in Eugene Saturday night. The event starts at 7:30 p.m. Tickets start at $13.
If you have enough guts to brave the cold Willamette River, sign up for the Polar Plunge! It’s all for a good cause. If you take the plunge, it’s free to sign up. You’re just asked to raise $50 for Special Olympics. It happens Saturday at 11 a.m. at Maurie Jacobs Park across from Valley River Center in Eugene. Sign up online or at the event.
If you’d rather stay dry, grab your friends and head out to Dexter State Park Saturday for the Eugene Disc Golf Club Ice Bowl. It’s $20 to sign up. You get your own disc and lunch. All entry fees go to support Food for Lane County. Last-minute registration begins at 7:45 a.m. Tee-off is at 9:30 a.m.
Ballet Fantastique is putting on its latest show this weekend. The Misadventures of Casanova is about a notorious romantic. Their dancers will take the stage Saturday night and Sunday afternoon at the Hult Center. Tickets start at $27. Discounts are available. Get them quick because their last three shows sold out.
Next week is the 10th anniversary of Affair of the Heart. Ladies, on Thursday, Feb. 7 from 4-9 p.m., you and your friends can have tons of fun at this special event at the Lane Events Center. There will be amazing food, guest speakers, a fashion show, music and more. The best part is admission is free!
