It’s not our first rhody-o–that’s the theme for this year’s Rhododendron Festival in Florence. Head out to the coast to celebrate. There will be parades, a flower show, car show, carnival and 5k run. Click here for a full schedule of events.

Calling all dogs and dog owners. It’s time for Bark in the Park. Join together for the 5k run and 2k walk at Alton Baker Park. It happens Sunday at 9 a.m. Admission is $20-$30.

You can still take part in this year’s Rad Run. It’s a 5k obstacle course and adventure run that will have more obstacles than any other 5k course in Oregon. It happens Saturday starting at 8 a.m. at Sollevato Vineyard in Junction City. Day-of registration is $70. Proceeds go to local charities.

University of Oregon Relay for Life is this weekend. Come together to honor survivors, remember loved ones lost, and fight cancer. The relay happens at Hayward Field at turf field number three. It starts at 5 p.m. Saturday and ends Sunday at 8 a.m. Admission is $10-$20.

Pull out your dancing shoes for the Spring Hangar Dance. Blue Skies Big Band will be playing the classics from artists like Duke Ellington. It happens Sunday at 2 p.m. at the Oregon Air and Space Museum at the Eugene Airport. Admission is $8.
