Motorcyclists can sign up for a poker run to help support breast cancer prevention. Registration is at 11:30 a.m. with a BBQ at Latus Harley-Davidson near Lane Community College. It costs $20 to sign up. Additional poker hands are $10. The first ride out is at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday.
The poker run route ends at the annual Function 4 Junction. You’ll see all sorts of hot rods and classic cars in downtown Junction City. The show-and-shine is from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. The cruise-in is 6-9 p.m. It’s free to attend. If you’d like to enter your vehicle, it costs $20.
Local dancers are coming together to help one of their own fight two rare diseases. All That! Dance Company is putting on a show to benefit 3-year-old Brielle Crawford. The show is at 7 p.m. on Friday at the Wildish Theater in Springfield. Tickets are $15.
Get ready for a summer in the water. Cottage Grove Pool is hosting a free Water Safety Play Day. Kids and their parents will learn about swimming and boat safety. Afterwards, they can swim in the pool for free! Bring your swimsuit and towel. The fun starts Saturday at 10 a.m.
For all you Duck fans out there, you can listen to the University of Oregon Green and Yellow Garter Bands. These elite, athletic music groups are putting on a free concert this Sunday. It’s at the Erb Memorial Union Ballroom on the UO campus.
