Want to learn about the creatures that come out at night? Then join Nearby Nature for its annual Haunted Hike in Alton Baker Park. Bring your flashlight for a fun, family hike through the woods led by nature guides. It happens Friday night starting at 5:30 p.m. It’s free for members and $5 for non-members.
Celebrate Dia de los Muertos, or Day of the Dead. The Maude Kerns Art Center is throwing a fiesta, complete with traditional dances, music and more. Admission is free. That happens Friday night from 6-9 p.m.

Take part in the Hospice Run and Walk to Remember. The four-mile run and the two-mile walk takes you along scenic riverside trails. It happens this Sunday at 2 p.m. at Sacred Heart at RiverBend. Entry fee starts at $15. Proceeds benefit Sacred Heart hospice programs, including Courageous Kids.
