Skaters from all over the Northwest will be in Eugene this weekend to compete on the ice. The Northwest Pacific Regional Champions will take place at the Lane Ice Center. You can watch the competitions Friday through October 2. Tickets are $15 for one day or $35 for an all-event tickets. Kids 5 and under get in for free.

Enjoy some great views around the lakes near Cottage Grove by bike. Cycle the Lakes Century Bike Ride features rides that are 25, 50 and 100 miles long. All rides start and end at Bohemia Park in Cottage Grove bright and early Saturday at 7 a.m. Admission is $35-$40.

Help spread awareness about diabetes at the Lions Walk for Diabetes Awareness. This event features a 5K trail, 5K road and 10K combined. Races start at 9 a.m. Saturday at Dorris Ranch in Springfield. Admission is $15 in advance and $20 the morning of.

The fall season is here, and you can celebrate it at the Veneta Harvest Featival. Saturday from 10 a.m.-4 p.m., listen to live music, sample food and wine, plus there’s activities for the kids. It happens at East Broadway and 2nd Street in Veneta. Admission is free.
