SPRINGFIELD, Ore. — With the recent sun breaks we’ve been getting, many people are gearing up for more time outdoors.
Cabela’s in Springfield held its annual Great Outdoor Days festival this weekend to kick off the start of warmer weather.
Fishing guides as well as conservation groups showed up to provide free seminars for fans of the outdoors.
Cabela’s wanted to take time to educate their customers about the importance of being environmentally responsible.
“It’s just important. With our customer base and the demographic, it makes sense to share the conservation groups’ hard work,” said Cabela’s manager Daniel Beraldo.
The weekend’s events also included a film festival for fly fishing fans.
