Paper Apple Campaign Helps Schools

EUGENE, Ore. — Over the years, tens of thousands of dollars have gone to the Bethel School District thanks to the October Paper Apple Campaign.

You may have seen green paper apples in various businesses around town. You can buy one for a dollar and write your name on it. All the money raised benefits the Bethel District, and the participating businesses want to help how they can.

“Me and my father, he was one of the original owners as well. This is our neighborhood. This is our area. We want to be able to help these people. I have kids of my own,” said Shaun Stratton of Hoagies “R” Us.

The Apple Campaign goes until the end of October. Click here for more information.
