Meteorologist Melissa Frey’s Forecast Discussion
This morning is another chilly foggy start to the day. Temps fell to the low 40s in the valley this morning and fog is settling in as well.
The fog will lift mid morning, but sunny skies are not likely. A weak front is going to move through western Oregon tonight. It’s not impressive at all, but will likely spread clouds across western Oregon and bring in a chance for light showers along the coast and possible drizzle in the valley late today. Highs will stay in the low 60s across western Oregon.
Friday we’ll stay dry and partly sunny, but another weak front is on the way for Saturday night. This one is all weak and not expected to do much. We may see a few showers along the coast and a few isolated light showers Saturday night in the valley.
Once we get through these two weak storms high pressure returns to the Pacific Northwest. This will dry us out Sunday – Wednesday and will bring back sunnier skies. Highs will return to the mid 60s early next week and upper 60s by mid-week.
Have a great day!
