Meteorologist Marisa Woloszyn’s Forecast Discussion:
An upper level ridge will be in control of our weather Monday, meaning dry and fair weather. Monday will also be the warmest day of the week with high temps in the upper 40s and low 50s.
The next low pressure system drops down from the Gulf of Alaska Tuesday afternoon. Showers will be scattered and last through Wednesday; rainfall totals will be around a 0.5 inches. Snow levels will be around 2,500′, bringing 1-3 inches of snow to the ski resorts and along passes.
Some very chilly air will be on the backside of the system; high temperatures will be in the low to mid 40s with lows in the low to mid 30s through the weekend. The next major rain/snow system will hold off until Friday night.
