SPRINGFIELD, Ore. — A Eugene man is in the hospital after getting hit while crossing the street.
Officers say the 25-year-old ran across Mohawk near 18th Street on Monday night.
There was significant damage to the car. The victim complained of leg injuries before going to the hospital.
Officers cited him for crossing the street outside the crosswalk. The driver of the car was not injured.
