This accident is entirely the fault of the City of Cottage Grove in my opinion…
Really crappy painted crosswalk with no overhead lighting or proper warning to drivers.
A really busy shopping center, and dining area, plus a major buss stop and.. WOW not a real crosswalk with proper lights for several blocks south and none north.
I hope that they get disciplined over this.. they sure got plenty of money to purchase a worthless Armory (huge money pit mind you,) and can afford major cosmetic main street make overs and yet ignore simple safety on street crossings…
Driving the streets in this city takes an SUV with four wheel traction and more.
    Just my two cent’s here…
William Allen Baker is my name.. and I live here btw… have for over fifty years.. I see the shoddy stuff they pull these days.
