EUGENE, Ore. — A woman is fighting for her life, following a vehicle/pedestrian crash in the Bethel area.
Eugene police were out late Tuesday night investigating the cause of the crash.
According to witnesses, the 58-year-old female pedestrian was crossing Royal Avenue diagonally between Danebo and Candlelight Drive just before 6:00 p.m. when she was struck by a westbound Volkswagon Van driven by a 60-year-old female Eugene resident.
Police say alcohol is a possible factor in the crash.
