Residents Sign Petition to Save Pub

CORVALLIS, Ore. — A petition is circulating the city that may be the last hope for a popular brew pub.

The owners of the Brew Station say they couldn’t reach a deal with their landlord; so after five years, they’ll be closing their doors.

Loyal customers say they’ve gathered more than 1,100 signatures and plan to present the petition to the landlord. They hope it will show how much it means to the community.

“Corvallis isn’t going to be the same without it,” said one resident.

“It’s a little disappointing and I like having it so close,” another resident said.

A co-owner of the Brew Station says she tears up whenever she sees the petition because it shows just how much it means to the community.
