POSITION VACANCY POSTING
KEZI 9 NEWS is accepting applications for the position of:
PHOTOGRAPHER/EDITOR
OPENING DATE: March 1, 2013
CLOSING DATE: Until filled
QUALIFICATIONS:
• A four-year college degree and completion of at least one internship in a broadcast television newsroom preferred. Ability to use, transport and lift video camera equipment and tripod (approx. 55 lbs.). Proficient at shooting and editing under extreme deadline pressure. Microwave ENG van experience is a real plus. Outstanding interpersonal skills; a team player.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Shooting and editing stories for broadcast. Creatively editing packages, voiceovers and voiceover/sots, effectively using pictures and natural sound to tell a story, with strong audio/video linkage. Operating microwave ENG van and stinger.
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT
• This is a full-time position; rate of pay is hourly.
