GLENWOOD, Ore. — From a vacant lot to state of the art. The Planned Parenthood of Southwestern Oregon is opening its doors to the public Thursday night.
The Glenwood Center began its operations in September and was redesigned with many environmentally friendly features, including geothermal heating and cooling, rain water flushing systems and sustainable construction materials.
Planned Parenthood expects to serve nearly 20,000 patients this year.
Everyone is welcome to attend the open house event Jan. 17. It starts at 5:30 p.m.
