LINN COUNTY, Ore. — Linn County sheriff’s deputies say a poaching investigation ended with the suspect ramming three patrol cars and a car owned by an innocent bystander.
Deputies say they were asking Joseph Williams about a report that he tried to shoot a deer in the Sweet Home area.
They got in an argument and Williams allegedly hopped back in his truck and led deputies on a chase.
They say he intentionally hit four cars all together, sending three law enforcement officers to the hospital. They were all treated and released.
