EUGENE, Ore. — Police arrested a man connected to a sex abuse case from last August near the University of Oregon.
Eugene and Springfield police officers arrested Christopher Warren Mack for questioning Wednesday. He was lodged in the Lane County Jail for first degree sex abuse.
The victim told police that on Aug. 23, Mack approached her on Villard Street while she was walking and asked for directions, but she didn’t answer. He then grabbed her chest from behind and thrust his hips into her lower back.
Detectives are continuing their investigation into possibly related incidents.
