ROSEBURG, Ore. — Oregon State Police and the Roseburg Police Department are investigating a crash that killed a transient.
Erik Collins, 23, was driving along NW Garden Valley Boulevard on Sunday when a male pedestrian started to cross the road. Police say Collins’ pickup hit 59-year-old Patrick Allan Stark.
Stark was transported to Mercy Hospital with critical injuries, which he later died from. The Roseburg Police Department does not believe there will be any criminal charges filed.
