Police Release Names in U-Haul Chase

EUGENE, Ore. — Police have released the names of the two suspects who were arrested after a pursuit Wednesday afternoon.

Multiple agencies were involved in the chase, which started around 3:20 p.m. and ended at 4 p.m.

Police closed the north and southbound lanes of Northwest Expressway, between Awbrey Lane and Irvington Drive to traffic while they investigated.

The driver, Lance Allan Harris, 43, and passenger, Natasha Leanne Lucero, 26, both of Portland, were taken into custody after officers chased a mid-size U-Haul for nearly an hour.

Harris was lodged on charges of Felony Eluding, Driving while Suspended, Unauthorized Use of a Vehicle, and additional charges are pending. Lucero was lodged for Unauthorized Use of a Vehicle.

Detectives are trying to determine if the suspects are connected to other Eugene Police cases.
