Police Search for Bank Robbery Suspect

SPRINGFIELD, Ore. – The Springfield Police Department is looking for the suspect involved in a robbery Monday.

Around 5 p.m. Monday, officers responded to a report of a robbery at the Key Bank at 725 A St.

Officers say a man entered the bank and threatened to shoot the employee if she didn’t cooperate, but he never showed a weapon.

The employee gave the man money, before he left the bank on foot.

Police describe the suspect as white male in his 30s, 5 feet 9 inches tall, with a medium build; he has short reddish-blonde hair, numerous tattoos on both arms and was last seen wearing a dark colored cut-off T-shirt.
