Police Search for Robbery Suspect

SPRINGFIELD, Ore. — Springfield police are on the look out for whomever robbed a Little Caesars Friday afternoon.

Little Caesars employess say a man came in to the store on Q Street and threatened he had a gun. Police say the man then fled the scene on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash.

Officers say it happened at around 4:30 p.m. Police told KEZI 9 News that canine units searched the area but never found the suspect.

Based on eyewitness accounts, Springfield Police say the suspect may be a repeat offender.

“It just kind of appears that this may be a person who is responsible for a robbery that happened the day before at a Domino’s Pizza that was over on Willamette (Street) in Eugene,” said Sgt. Richard Jones, Springfield Police Department.

Police describe the suspect as a white male in his 20s or 30s. He is said to be 6 foot 3 inches with a very thin build and a long reddish beard. Police reports say he was last seen wearing a green snowboarding jacket, as well as a red beanie and brownish maroon pants.

Police urge the public to contact the Springfield Police Department with any information on the robbery.

    You guys didn’t mention that the Little Ceasers out W 11th was robbed too last tuesday. and the guy handed the crew member and note threatening him saying he had a gun and that it wasn’t worth it. just thought i’d mention it. because it seems like the same guy.
