Police Search for Shooting Suspect

CRESWELL, Ore. — The Lane County Sheriff’s Office is looking for a suspect in a Monday night shooting in Creswell.

Police received a call about a man with a gunshot wound just before 7:30 p.m. Deputies immediately taped off a home on the 500 block of Scarbrough Avenue. Police confirmed the man was shot in the leg, but the extent of his injuries were unknown.

Jessie Allen Long, 27, of Eugene, has been identified as a suspect in the shooting. He should be considered armed and dangerous.

    The blue Dodge is an Intrepid. Not a Dodge Intrigue as reported.

      According to the Lane County Sheriff’s Office, the suspect vehicle is a blue or blue-gray Oldsmobile Intrigue. It was last seen in the Creswell area at about 7 p.m. on July 29.
