Police Seize Cash and Drugs at Apartment

EUGENE, Ore. — Detectives make an arrest in a drug investigation stretching from the Portland area to Eugene.

Police say they found who and what they were looking for at an apartment complex on Patterson Alley.

Connor Krug, 21, was arrested for conspiracy to commit delivery of ecstasy and marijuana. Police say they found about a pound of marijuana and more than $4,000 in cash.

Neighbors who knew of Krug say they never suspected anything like this.

“I was here when the cops came and seized. And I heard six cops go bang, bang, bang. And I was actually asleep and I woke up and was like, ‘Man, what’s happening?’ I had no idea, and it was just a big surprise,” said neighbor Courtney Argent.

Many of those identified during the investigation are former and current West Linn High School students. The investigation is ongoing.
