Police Serve Drug Warrant in Springfield

SPRINGFIELD, Ore. — Law enforcement officers searched through a home during a drug investigation in a Springfield neighborhood Tuesday morning.

The search began just after 9 a.m. Officers on scene say they were serving a general drug search warrant near 42nd and Daisy streets.

Neighbors told KEZI 9 News that the officers searched through everything, including the truck in the driveway.

“The last couple of hours were pretty hectic. A bunch of DEA it looked like and state authorized state police department, and so I came out my door and there’s cops everywhere and coming through here,” said neighbor Calvin.

Officers say one individual was taken into custody.

Police have not released any other information. The investigation is ongoing.
