EUGENE, Ore. — The Ducks’ loss to Stanford made the BCS Championship an even more elusive season finale for Oregon, but fans know nothing is out of the question.
It could happen but there are a few “ifs” involved.
If Notre Dame loses to USC and if Florida loses to Florida State, that might bump Oregon to No. 2 behind the team that wins the SEC Championship–Georgia or Alabama. And, of course, Oregon has to beat the Beavers in the Civil War on Saturday.
