(CNN) — President Obama is set to meet with Attorney General Eric Holder Monday to discuss the situation in Ferguson, Missouri.
That’s according to a White House official. It comes just over a week after a white police officer shot and killed an unarmed African American teen, leading to days of protests and violence in the city.
Witnesses have said Michael Brown had his hands up in surrender when he was killed. Authorities have said Brown was trying to get the officer’s gun.
Sunday, the Justice Department announced Holder had approved a request by the teen’s family to have an autopsy done by a federal medical examiner.
The autopsy is expected to be completed as soon as possible.
