EUGENE, Ore. — More than 300 girls currently living with foster parents will be primped and pampered this weekend at Princess for a Day.
Each of them will be treated like a princess and dressed like one too.
The event put on by A Family for Every Child has been a huge success in years past.
“It wasn’t about being a foster child. It was about being a princess, being special, being beautiful, just really being everything that is wonderful about yourself, and that’s what we really hope to bring them,” said Christy Obie-Barrett, Executive Director.
The event is still accepting donations of gently used or new dresses, shoes or jewelry. You can drop those items off at the A Family for Every Child office anytime between now and Friday.
