EUGENE, Ore. — If there is no time to cook up a turkey, you can head to the Wetlands Brew Pub and help out a good cause at the same time.
The pub is serving up a Thanksgiving dinner for $5 a plate if you bring in a donation. They are looking for cannned goods, clothing, blankets and hygiene products, which will be given to the Eugene Mission.
“Every year we are open for Thanksgiving, we always do a Thanksgiving dinner for the community this year we decided that its going to be better to give back,” said Melanie Vigue, Wetlands Brew Pub bartender.
The feast starts at 1 p.m. and ends when the turkey runs out.
