EUGENE, Ore. — The Lane County Historical Museum is playing host to the 37th annual Quilt Exhibition.
The event is being run by the Pioneer Quilters of Eugene.
Visitors will get the chance to take a close look at some modern day quilts as well as ones with some history, like a Tennessee Star quilt dating all the way back to the Civil War era.
Organizers say education is a big part of the event.
“Coming to this show will put them in connection with this large historical body of people. A lot of people will say my grandmother used to quilt, and what we’d like to say is so can you,” said Robin Fouquette, Event Coordinator.
Admission costs $5 for adults and $3 for children to check out the exhibit. All the money raised goes back to the museum.
