Chief Meteorologist Justin Stapleton‘s Daily Forecast Discussion:
A beautiful Wednesday overall with highs pushing back in the 60 for a bunch of locales today, upper 50s at the coast and plenty of sunshine. Changes coming tonight in the forecast as the next system takes aim at the Northwest, bringing showers and snow back down to Pass level by the end of the week. Tonight, clouds will slowly thicken up and the first sprinkles after midnight will turn into showers by Thursday morning’s commute.
Showers on and off all day Thursday and likely Friday as well. Cooler overall with highs barely touching 60 both Friday and Saturday. Snow will likely mix down to around 5000 feet and Saturday may actually see some isolated thunderstorms with sun breaks helping to stir things up in the afternoon. The good news is Mother’s Day is looking cloudy at first but dry and some decent sunshine for mom in the afternoon.
Real solid looking warm up is in store for next week, nice ridge of high pressure will push highs back into the upper 70s by next Tuesday!
Have a great Wednesday night!
