Chief Meteorologist Justin Stapleton‘s Evening Forecast Discussion:
Talk about some dense fog ALL DAY in the valley. Temperatures only climbed four degrees from 43 to 47 for the high. Yuck. Meanwhile, the coast sat in the mid to upper 50s with more clouds streaming in ahead of a cold front that will start to move through overnight tonight. Showers, turning to rain will arrive around midnight at the coast, into the pre-dawn hours for inland areas.
Tuesday will stay wet overall as rain will transition to showers by the late afternoon and eventually gone in the evening. Highs will be a bit warmer, back into the mid 50s with a few sun breaks by the afternoon. Next up is a couple of drier days as we’ll be in between systems with foggy starts and partly sunny finishes and highs in the mid 50s.
More showers and colder air are coming for Friday night and on and off through most of the weekend.
Have a great Tuesday!
