Monday’s storm brought in another round of rain across western Oregon. The south coast was hit the hardest with nearly an inch in Coos Bay. Eugene picked up a tenth of an inch. A much colder air mass have moved in behind this storm which dropped snow levels below the passes. Santiam and Willamette Passes will see 1-2″ today and 1-3″ tonight.
We’ll see isolated showers and sun breaks for the first part of Tuesday but the rain will pick back up in the second half of the day as another storm moves through. High temps will drop to the mid 50s.
Heavier rain can be expected with back to back fronts Wednesday and Thursday. Highs will stay in the mid to upper 50s.
Friday and the weekend are looking slightly drier, although it’s likely we’ll see at least some scattered showers and mostly cloudy skies.
Have a great Tuesday! ~Meteorologist Melissa Frey
