EUGENE, Ore. — It’s Random Acts of Kindness Week, and who got the big surprise? Coffee drinkers!
Umpqua Bank and Sterling Financial are teaming up this month to deliver a variety of random acts across the Pacific Northwest. The campaign concluded Friday morning at the Dutch Bros. coffee stand on Coburg Road with free coffee and free fortune cookies.
“We’re taking the month off to give back, just doing little things. And actually, it’s something we do all year long,” said Alison Myers, Umpqua Branch Manager.
Umpqua said it gave out over 55,000 fortune cookies in all with wonderful notes that said things like “You look nice today” and “Your fortune calls for awesomeness.”
