EUGENE, Ore. — How would you like carpet that’s stain-resistant, fade-resistant and sustainable?
Dalton Carpet in west Eugene says it’s been selling the product made from recycled plastic bottles.
“You can’t really tell the difference between pop bottle carpet or nylon carpet or olyphant carpet. You just can’t. That’s the really the benefit, and it keeps thousands and thousands of bottles out of the landfill,” said Rocky Stevens, Dalton Carpet.
If you’re looking to recycle your own carpet, you can drop it at the Glenwood Transfer Station for free.
