BARNEGAT BAY, NJ (CNN) — A week after Superstorm Sandy ravaged the Northeast, relief donations continue to pour in.
The American Red Cross has taken in nearly $85 million so far. That’s more than double the $35 million it had raised through Friday morning.
The record-breaking storm left a trail of destruction spanning numerous states, and claimed at least 110 lives in the United States alone.
