Red Cross Holds Emergency Prep Classes

American Red CrossEUGENE, Ore. — Do you feel prepared in case disaster strikes close to home? If the answer is no, you may be interested in a free class that the American Red Cross is offering.

The nonprofit is holding the classes in Portland and Eugene to teach participants how to prevent, prepare for, and respond to emergencies. Those who attend will learn how to make personal disaster plans and how to assemble an emergency kit. The classes are free, but registration is required.

Eugene classes will be held on the first Wednesday of the month between April and June from 6-7 pm at the Oregon Pacific Chapter at 862 Bethel Drive, Eugene. To RSVP, call (630)-631-6221 or e-mail: henry.soderberg@redcross.org
