The Downtown Corvallis Association is gearing up for its 20th annual Red White and Blue Riverfront Festival that begins Thursday evening.
There will be music, food, crafts, and even a magician.
“It’s just a great day to celebrate Independence Day, our nation’s birthday, and in a wonderful location down at the riverfront in Riverfront Park with the Willamette River flowing by,” said Joan Wessell, Executive Director of Downtown Corvallis Association.
The festival kicks off Thursday at 5 p.m. then runs all day Friday. It is free to attend, but the association is asking for donations. Wessell says it costs about $18,000 to put on the festival each year, and the association relies on donations to continue putting on the celebration.
