OAKLAND, Ore.
— Friends of an Oakland man are offering a reward to help to find the person who hit a motorcycle and then drove off.
The 73-year-old Oakland resident was driving on Highway 101 on February 15 near Winchester Bay, when troopers say a silver SUV hit the back of his motorcycle and forced it off the road.
Then driver of the SUV then drove away.
The victim suffered serious, but non-life threatening injuries.
His friends are now offering a thousand dollar reward.
Anyone with information about the wreck is asked to call Oregon State Police.
