EUGENE, Ore. — A stretch of 19th Avenue in front of South Eugene High School will be closed to traffic during spring break. Eugene public works will be replacing damaged concrete panels between High and Ferry streets.
The two-block section will be closed for the entire week to give the concrete enough time to cure, so it’ll be ready to handle traffic loads when it reopens.
The road work will start Monday, March 24 and should be finished in time for school to start back up on Monday, March 31.
During construction, the sidewalks will remain open.
