Road Project to Cause Temporary Outage

BEND, Ore. – A state and city road project will temporary shut off power to 4,900 Pacific Power customers in south Bend Wednesday night.

Pacific Power says an electricity outage will occur between 11 p.m. Wednesday and 5 a.m. Thursday while crews move overhead wires on Highway 97, Third Street and Murphy Road. The outage will affect consumers on Highway 97 from Pinebrook Boulevard to Deschutes Woods.

Crews say traffic signals will be out and that all intersections should be treated as four-way stops.

Customers with questions can call Pacific Power at 1-888-221-7070.
