Officials say a vehicle driven by a man matching the robbery suspect’s description was spotted on Monday. OSP detectives stopped the vehicle in the 24000 block of Redwood Highway and took the suspect, Mark Alan Cardinal, 58, of Gasquet, California, into custody.
Detectives identified Cardinal as the suspect in five bank robberies, three in Grants Pass and two in Cave Junction.
