Roseburg Man Hit and Killed on I-5

Roseburg fatalROSEBURG, Ore. — A Roseburg man walking in the northbound lanes of I-5 was struck by a semi-truck and died.

Officers say it happened near the Stewart Parkway overpass Saturday afternoon.

Investigators say 51-year-old Charles Earwood walked into traffic.

He’s known to have a history of mental illness and officers say his acts may have been intentional.
